Queen Victoria was there as well.

Cadiz is on the western coast of Spain, on the Atlantic.  It is similar to Cartagena in that it is very nice, very clean.  It has a well decorated waterfront area full of flowers and fountains that lead into the town square.  Unfortunately, it was Sunday when we arrived so most places were closed.  We wandered around a bit and found a lovely bakery with the best sweet buns you’ve ever had.  We got a few and walked to the sea wall around the corner and ate them.  The were so divine, we stopped again and got a bag full before heading back to the ship in time for a late lunch in the Lido.  And do you think I got a picture of the shop?  No.  One day I’ll get this blogging thing.

This was the view of Cadiz from the Lido. Absolutely stunning.
